The open lead limit allows you to set and control how many leads you have at any one point in time on a product-by-product basis.
The idea is to ensure that partners aren’t overwhelmed by unmanageable lead volume, and businesses are being matched to providers who have the capacity to serve them.
To set an Open Lead Limit, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the “Products” tab on the left-hand side menu.
- Select “Edit” on the Product that you want to set a limit on.
- Scroll down to the “Open Lead Limit” section.
If you were to set your Open Lead Limit to 10, the system would cap your total active leads for this product offering to 10. This will mean that once you hit 10 active leads in your pipeline for the product (“active” refers to leads that are Matched, Reviewed, Contacted or Qualified), prospective businesses won’t be able to match with that product until one of the existing leads moves to a terminal stage (“terminal” refers to leads that are Withdrawn, Disqualified or Complete).
As soon as the count of active leads dips below the ceiling of 10, your product will once again be available to match with (that is, until you work back up to 10 active leads).
Once you make your desired changes, make sure to click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the screen.
