The CRF Connect platform was developed by Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF) to help connect small businesses to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) that offer transparent and responsible financing options designed to help small businesses grow and thrive.
CRF Connect allows participating CDFIs to create eligibility profiles for each of the products that they offer including geographic and credit-related parameters. After setting up product profiles, CDFI loan products are added to the CRF Connect Marketplace inventory and become eligible to be matched to incoming loan inquiries from small business owners.
When a loan inquiry is matched to a specific product, the corresponding CDFI will receive email alerts with a prompt to login and review the loan inquiry. At that point, the CDFI should reach out directly to the small business contact and begin the formal application process.
