Now that your loan has been enrolled, you can move on to servicing your loan during its lifecycle. Each program will have different requirements for what information is required and how often. Some programs require monthly updates with full details of how much money was repaid while others require only quarterly updates on the general health of the loan.
Below you will find general guidance on how to submit a servicing event to the system, please also refer to the guidance provided by your program sponsor to understand the specifics of your program.
Filing New Servicing Reports via the User Interface
- Navigate to the Loan Servicing page of Exchange via your left navigation bar
- Find the loan you wish to report a servicing event on and click it to go to the “Loan Details” view. Click “Report Event”
- Enter in all the necessary details for your servicing event, when done click “Save” to submit the event for validation.
- Once all validation rules are successfully passed, you will be returned to the “Loan Details” page for that loan. If there are issues with your data, you will see a prompt identifying what errors you have so you can resolve them and resubmit your event.
