- From the Users page of the Exchange, find the user you wish to disable and click the pencil icon next to their name.
- You will have two options: Remove and Deactivate.
Removing a user will remove them from the system entirely and the user will have to be re-invited if they need subsequent access to the Exchange.
Deactivating a user will keep their user object in the Exchange but simply blocks their ability to sign in. This is best used if a user needs access removed only temporarily.
- Regardless of which button you click, you will be given a confirmation dialog. Click “Confirm” and this process will be complete.
